Problem Description
Selecting Photo Preview tab crashes ProjectWise Explorer, problem was that the pwviewer.dll was from an older PW version.
Steps to Resolve
- Open Windows Explorer and browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\ProjectWise\bin
- Right click on column headings and select "More.."
- Select "File Version" and click OK
- Check the file version of the pwviewer.dll file
- If the version does not match the other files, and the current version of ProjectWise installed on the machine, then continue with the rest of the steps below
- Delete the pwviewer.dll file
- Run a repair on the ProjectWise Explorer installation on the machine, which will add back the correct version of the file
