I have locked myself out of my folders and need to reset permissions.

Problem

• User was setting permissions for a folder or project and forgot to give someone full control or at least ability to change permissions. No one can change permissions
• User was setting permissions for a folder or project and forgot to give themselves access to see the folders and now they folders are no longer visible. 

Solution

• In ProjectWise Administrator, go to users, then find your account or the Administrator account,
• Right click and choose settings, then click on the options tab
• Under 'General' check off the 'use access control' option.
• Click save and close
• Log into ProjectWise Explorer and you should now have full control over the entire datasource.
• Fix the permissions for the folder\files
• Go back to the administrator and check back on the 'use access control' option.
