Error or Warning Message

While attempting to import Microstation Configuration files to a ProjectWise Managed Configuration Setting block:

'Could not convert [path] to a long path equivalent.'

Problem Explanation

The Microstation workspace configuration root is currently set to use a mapped drive letter.  The 'GetLongPath' method cannot resolve this to a local volume path, or a network/UNC (\\) path.

How to Correct

The user will need to modify the Microstation configuration saved in that location so that it refers to the location using a UNC path, instead of a drive letter.  

(i.e.. Using \\Server\Share\Folder\ will work, but M:\Folder\ will not.)  

Once the user has made the necessary changes to the configuration, verify that the change has taken effect.

Verify that the location listed is in a UNC format, not a mapped drive letter.

Close Microstation and retry the import operation in ProjectWise Administrator.
