 Area:Check In Dialog
 Subarea:N\A

Problem

The user was getting error:
“Last Error [32768] Error checking document <document name.dgn> in.”
The user was able to check-out, upload, and delete files but could not edit and check-in files.
Would receive the error.
Error only occurs on existing files stored on a particular storage server.
New files added today can be edited and checked in.
The user could also export the file, edit it, and Import the file back with no errors.

Solution

The problem turned out to be a permissions issue on the part of the user account running the service on the caching server where the storage area lives
We added the domain service account that was running the service to the local Admin group on the Caching server.
This seems to have fixed the issue. He can now open files and check them back without errors.
