Problem Description

Error 55040 when dragging and dropping files into ProjectWise
User was using a facilities script that adds files to ProjectWise.  It failed half way through.
User then decided to just add the files to the datasource that the script was supposed to do, by dragging and dropping.
Problem was specific to one folder

Solution

Had user set the view so he could see the folder ID number.
then went to the storage area on the server and found the folder.
The files he was trying to add where already there.
He thinks this may have happened because the facilities script he was running, failed and may have put some files in PW storage before it failed but did not write the info to the database, there for he could not see them in PW explorer
In PW he deleted all the files in the folder, then went to the storage area and deleted what files remained.
